easy question

Default easy question

Hey i just swaped in a lsvtec in my crx. I dont have an ecu but with my stock ecu would it crank over at all? I was just wondering cause i tried it to see if it would try to start but nothing happend but the ceck engine light just clicked on and off really fast

On my 88 crx si with b18b1 and jdm b16a head with ctr pistons(r.i.p.) It was obd0 and the ef8 sir ecu worked great.

bad idea...a stock pr3 will not perform well at all on that set-up...i can just imagine why its r.i.p

Yes with any working OBD-0 ECU hooked up correctly (your engine is OBD-0 I'm assuming) it should crank over and idle but I don't recommend letting it stay on for very long.

yeah the stock pm6 ecu will run the motor..i had a stock pm6 running my b16a for 2 weeks until my chipping kit came in..dont gun it though,,because the pm6 will run the 1.8 dohc engine lean..
