Oil pressure question for my GSR.
1995 Integra GSR
I did a search stating what my oilpressure should be...
Pressure setting at engine oil temp. 176°F:
At idle: 10 psi min
At 3,000 rpm: 50 psi min
Rebuilt with 250 miles on the engine currently, new oil pump and all. Currently running 10w-30 mineral based oil on a wix filter
I'm currently idling between 12-15psi
3000rpm cruising is a little less than 45psi
4500rpm WOT is about 60psi
Max oil pressure is around 70psi
Both my main bearings and my crank bearings measure to be .0015 and I'm running ACL HX race bearings due to clearancing problems. I'm going to replace my oil pickup tube and it's gasket, if that doesn't help, you guys think I should just switch to a heavier oil or different filter?
