do any of you guys experience heat soak? my car runs great for about the first hour of driving, after that i can tell that the power is noticeably down, especially on hot days. i'm running the stock airbox btw.
well. yeah on hot days i can feel my car's kinda slow compared to a cooler day/nights
but nothing too ovious
isnt it kinda normal?

in my case it happens during the same day, like i leave at 8 in the morning and the car runs fine, then when i'm on the way home an hour later the car feels a lot slower
Were you driving in hot weather? i think the heat from the motor gets sucked into the air filter and causes loss of power.. not much you can do unless you get a intake kit hehe
i suffer that in my Shortram civic also...
and with the shortram and BLACK car, it picks up a lot of heat all around.
Yes I do feel the difference so I stopped driving past a certain RPM during hot/warm weather.

We've been having 30+C temperatures here.. the car runs and pulls real strong, but its just not the same as the chilly days.
Also, MY A\C is fucked!!!!!!!!! Driving my itr has become a Pain in the *** hardcore
