Default After Cam install Oil and Coolant leak

It looks like after i installed my cams, changed water pump, timing belt and head gasket the head might be leaking oil from the rightside of the engine and coolant from the left side. (this is if u were lookin the the motor from the front of the car) Its an H22a and when we installed the head gasket it said TOP on the upper rightside and everything lined up so we installed it with the dowel pins and put on the head and torqued it down. Now from what i've told u does this sound correct and im right or is it something else? Its leaking a good amount after the car has been started for about 5 mins. Does anyone know what happens when u install the head gasket wrong? could it be the head wasnt torqued down enough or too much? Please Help out fellow H-Ters!

Clean the engine off and check for leaks again. Is it leaking from the o-rings on the cam sprocket side of the cams?

Is the o-ring on the coolant tube sealed where it mates with the thermostat housing?

no it doesnt seem like its leaking from teh cam gear sprocket more from the lower end of the head. And im goin to re-torque down the head and then check the T-stat housing and connecting tube. Im thinking the head might have gotten warpped from being off the engine for 3 weeks and all the temp changes but thats rare so im a lil confused. Anyone else?!?

we live in NewEngland and have heads hanging around for months at a time so its not warped unless it was warped from issues prior to removing it.

typically headgaskets don't leak a ton of oil, so this would lead me to believe that its not the headgasket, but the cam seals which are notorious for leaking. AND BEING SNEAKY ABOUT WHERE THE OIL LOOKS LIKE ITS COMING FROM.

when addressing the antifreeze i also do not believe its your headgasket because the coolant passages are inboard of the oil passages and you not complainig of coolant mixing with your oil.

cam seal and coolant oring are my guesses. retorquing will most likely not solve the issue. take the t-belt off and check to see if the trail of oil starts at the cam seal. if so, replace it don't try and fix it.

then simply remove the thermostat housing and see which oring is leaking.

good luck...
