i started doing mine with a buddy today. there is alot of cutting involved to make it fit good and there is still a little gap on the bottom of the outer lense. we are making sure the silicone dries properly before we bolt the fogs up, so we will finish installing the actual fogs tomorrow.
heres the before pic. i circled everything that gets cut out.

heres an after pic. it came out real good. there is a small gap on the bottom, but you cant tell.

it was real easy after we dremeled out the vents.
1. stick the fog light cover in the vent, mark where you are gonna cut, then cut, then put the cover in, cut more if you have to.
2. i siliconed the foglight cover from behind, taped the front against the bumper to try and hold it tighter. i also put a screw in the inside of the foglight cover(u cant see it b/c ots on top) this hold the top of the cover much closer to the bumper.
3. let the silicone dry.
4. install lights. i modded the civic brackets the best i could to push against the inside of the bumper cover. this takes a little stres off the fog ligt cover.
5. install wiring. i have a hardtop, so i put my switch next to the rear defroster button, behind the cup holder.
installing the lights and wiring were real straight forward. that didnt take long at all. it depends on how clean you want it.

I really want to try this mod also. Do you have any pics that are not so up close? Any pics of the brackets?
How did you wire the fogs? Were these an OEM EK Fog light set or replica?
Sorry for all the questions. Just want a bit for info before I start cutting my bumper.
Thanks in Advance!

1. wiring the fogs was extremely easy. it was all plug and play. only had to add a power and ground wire.
2. i got the replica foglights off ebay for $79 plus shipping.
3. sorry no pics of the brackets b/c its all behind the bumper.
here is your far picture:

Absolutely.
Talk about overkill and a useless mod.
