wiring up a complete system
im doing my trunk install very clean and mounting my amps and caps etc..
only question is.. does it matter that my one cap for my highs is on the complete oppisite side of the trunk from the cap for my subs.
whats the max lenght i can have for the gound? should they all meet at one location or since they are far from the other.. should i just ground them at the closest spot i can.
running. 2 kicker l5s with a 1200 watt amp with polk momo components and a 200.2 kicker amp. two 2 farad caps and eclipse cd3000 head unit.
4 gauge wire.
should i use a distro block and put it in the center of the trunk and spit the power there.. for the amps .. or does it matter?

why do you have a capacitor for your highs? they're not going to drain enough power to make your lights dim. it sounds like you only need one of those capacitors
remember .5 farad for every 500 watts rms
