I need a new engine, 1996 or higher. I keep seeing the Ads for a B20B, but when I checked it out it says JDM only.
Why a b20?
for that i'll just save all of the hassle of getting custom everything and stay with the b18.
If you want a b20, just get the bottom end with a VEE-TECH head.
Another alternative would be getting a USDM GSR.
They are very fun motors and respond well to mods...

The problem is the Car is a 1996 GSR. Some Idiot down graded it to OBD1 I have to make it OBD2. I am not worried about power now, I just want to drive it legally.
he didnt downgrade it....its very common to go from obd2 to obd1 seeing as only obd1 ecu's can be tuned on your common rom burners etc

It doesnt matter if your car is obd1 or obd2 a good running car should pass emissions no matter what.

I just got off the phone with Hmotorsonline, they said I dont need a new motor I just need the sensors.
Im from Harrisburg...
As far as i know, PA inspection links to the diagnostics port on the passanger side behind the center console. If your car is a 96, it was originaly equiped with a p72 (OBD II). You just need a p72 ECU to swap in for inspection. What mods do you have? IM or anything that somebody would have removed sensors? Be sure to drive the car at least 200 miles or so after installing to be sure there are no pending/stored trouble codes.

They removed the Datalink Connector. All the wires were change to OBD1. I have the connector but my tuner has to some how figure out a way to adapt it to the conversion harness.
get a pig tail harness, if your wire harness has been re-pinned get an obd1 to obd2 harness
if it already has a pigtail adapter then take if off and put an obd2 ecu in
many people prefer obd1 over obd2 because it is much easier to tune and modify to see substantial power gains
