Head gasket problems can anyone help!!!!
I have a 1992 model B18A1 LS that is built out the *** my problem is that i have went threw 3 factory honda head gaskets i do have arp head studs! I just got a cometic head gasket what web site shows the tourque pattern i called arp they said the torque is 70lbs with a retorque after 1 heat cycle does anyone know of anything better to do i an runing nitrous 150hp directport! any help would be great!!!
I used the arp molley lube and i had the head checked to see if it was true and it was but i did not retorque and im thinking that was my problem!

that probably is your problem..when i used the studs on old lsvtec build i tq to 80ft/lbs wit the arp lube,,then after a heat cycle tq again,,then after a couple 100 miles checked it and it was fine..

So just retorque after a couple heat cycles then after 100 miles and it should be fine would you use copper spray on that cometic head gasket !!!
using copper spray wont hurt..i usually always do it with the metal headgaskets..

yeah retorque after the 1st heat cycle then check it at like 500miles..thats just my way though,,there are some that tq em to like 100 and never check it but i guess every builder has there own preference

It's a very good idea. After you assemble the engine, it takes time for the parts to "get situated". There was a service bulletin somtime in the ~90's with issues of a ticking noise.(B18A...) It said retorque headbolts and adjust the valves. I do not have the bulletin unfortunately, and am vaguely familiar with the different variations of the B series.
