Anyone have any idea how to make a conversion 5 speed to 6 speed on a 4th gen Accord? I am think about the tranny from 00-03 Accord 6-speed ( if i remember well). I planting to swap a H22 but it will fit on a H22?? Or Maybe get F20C + tranny and RWD. I know F20x isnt bolt-on in an Accord 4th gen. Any suggestion?

 

buy a different car if you want rwd and a 6 speed manual..an h22 will fit..and whats wrong with the 5 speed tranny from the lude?

 

no... the only possible way is proibly the k20... and they don't have mounts for the 4th gen... and i couldn't imagine doing a v6 swap..

 

The 6 speeds are only for the V6. And you would catch 10 kinds of hell trying to put a V6 in a 4th gen. Sorry.

 

Anything is possible with enough money and time.

But any direct fits will not work.

Not likely to happen.

The V6 6-speed tranny will not fit on any 4-cyl motor.

Take this idea and throw it right out the window. Trust me. If you want the F20C w/ RWD, get an S2000.

If you're going to swap an H22, use the H22's 5-speed. It more than matches the motor. Why do you want a 6-speed anyway? Just to say you have one?
