Use 5w30 Synthetic....Once the engine gets over 75000 miles on it, then you might want to consider a different type of oil. You might also want to use the RED SEARCH button at the top right....It tends to make things a lot easier!

You have the facts backwards
5W-xx is winter
10W-xx is summer

All I can say is... WOW... you guys should really do some research. Although whether you use 5W30 or 10W30, won't make much of a noticeable difference... especially in warm places like FL. If you're going to go through the hassle of using different grades based on temperatures... you might as well use the RIGHT ONE.
Again:
5W30 = winter
10W30 = summer
Why does this matter? The First number is an indicator of how easily the oil will crank at cold temperature. So, the lower the number, the lower your temperature can go, and the engine will still move.
Side effects, oils are modified using chemicals, if you use a winter oil in the summer, you won't notice a difference, however, there's a slightly higher chance of sheering.
