My Car wont idle right and kills itself???
Ok, I just got a 4 dr teg. with a JDM high Comp. B20B bottom and an Ls head, it runs great!! But the car just cant seem to want to idle right. It idle surges a lil bit...50-100 rpm surge. Sometimes if I am driving and come to a stop the rpm's go so low that it kills itself, and if it doesn't kill itself it drops down to 100 rpm's and then goes back up to 4-500...that is really low isn't it?? I know its not the idle control valve or whatever is bolted to the back of the intake mani. cause I just replaced that. What else could it be?? My car is completely stock nothing is done to it at all. Please give me some suggestions and or some help. Thanks all for your time.

i have the samme setup.. fresh, just broken into (less then 1000 miles)b20block /w LS head. mines JDM b20 fully built sleeved block but im turbocharged.. it never happened to me before, but today at a stoplight it did.. i am also worried... because i have never taken my car above 6.3kRPM and i have no vacum leak .

well the head I have on my car now needs the valves adjusted..but I am just going to be putting on a new head soon anyway. Not too sure on the timing or vacuum...I need to check both. Anything else it could be?? Thanks for any suggestions guys.
