run dpi on a mpfi motor, i guess it could work...

I've re dpi a car and the wiring sucked.

Do you have a DPFI head around? Would be simpler to mate that to the b7 block.

Well is the head on the dpi motor fragged? If the head is ok no reason not to just save yourself hassles.

The wiring you'll looking at will suck I am telling you that now.

http://www.rywire.com for mpfi, just get it out of the way if you can afford it.

y do u strongly suggest that it be done right now?? i plan on converting to MPFI soon but just not yet, i would have to go hunting for injectors, resistor box, obd0 mpfi ecu and injector plugs which will run me about a $100 that i would liek to save right now.

i just want to do this for a temp fix....will the DPFI affect the motor's performance???????? as far as reliablity.... i need something to get me around for a month or two untill my friend gives me his 95 sohc vtec motor and then i will convert to MPFI

DPFI sucks, it'll make the 70 hp seem like even less, not to mention your intake charge will be fucked by different port sizes, but it'll work.

i can live with that for now, since it will only be a temp. fix jus to daily drive until i get the parts and time to convert to MPFI....thanks for the replies

mpfi swap is easy, im sure you could find all the parts on here fairly easily and it will only take a cpl hours.

but if you want dpfi it will work.
