Does anybody know why the rack and pinion power assist squeaks when turning left or right?
Do I need to flush the old power steering fluid? If yes, how do you flush it out?

I flushed the power steering system. Used a generic power steering fluid. Old fluid that came out has a tint of red. Looks like my daughter put in an automatic transmission fluid when it was a bit low. Now, it turns quietly and smoothly.
