Ok, finally getting my em1 all together. I am building my b16a and want to know how much the stock sleeves can take? I am prob only gonna put down 400 whps at the most. Everything else in the engine will be replaced with much stronger parts, like rods, pistons, block guard, so on. It will be a new motor when done. Anyway i just don't want the sleeves to break. Jeff evans will be tuning is late aug. thanks.
ahahhahahahahaaahahahahah 400-500whp on stock sleeves good luck. Your on such thin ice with that setup if anything goes wrong. Im not saying its impossible ive seen it done many times. Not alot of people are capable tuning a car that fine be prepared for serious dyno time.

My car is the first one I've ever tuned, 460 WHP on **** water 91 octane on stock sleeves and it's my only car. I never had it on the dyno on high boost, but this weekend I was taking peoples money with 27 psi on C16 and slicks and I made about 3 dozen full passes like that.
Of course, since you have so much first hand experience with a 400+ WHP stock sleeve car, I'll take your opinion. I better turn it down to 300 WHP so it'll survive

Block guards are a waste of money.
Making that much power on stock sleeves is possible... but for a daily driver making 400whp every day I wouldn't do it. That's just me though.
Jeff is a good tuner and you will most likely have great results with your stock sleeves.

Well, obviously you missed the person he mentioned who is going to tune the car.
Jeff does a great job and seems to have great luck with tuning cars making big numbers on stock sleeves.
Hi Mario! Although. You can sleeve it, turn your b16 into a 2.0L
and have a way better looking torque curve with less boost
I always tell my customers that it gets expensive buying parts twice....buy the right **** the first time and be done with it. As in, it's gonna cost money for you bore/hone/decking. Might as well throw that money towards some sleeves (ERL
) and go from there.

yooo dan or josh from first state, whats going on? I don't want crazy power, just want my car back on the road. I am thinking about doing a 240 sx project after this one, haha. So that one will be the crazy one.
