Help! brake line on master cylinder

Default Help! brake line on master cylinder

I can get it off, do i take off going counter clockwise? or clock wise? i tried both and no luck and the edges are gettin to be stripped, can i spray WD 40?

make sure to use a flare wrench 10mm
they come off just like any other bolt

just back sure not to strip them.....if u do then get some visegrips!

I did try some flare 10mm and no luck....i take them going counter clockwise right?

yeah go counter clockwise, spray some pb and let it sit for a while, then use your flare wrench and knock it to loosen them with quick jerks.

Try slapping the wrench when you have it on the nut. This always helps me to loosen stubborn bolts or nuts.

I just attempted to replace my master cylinder as well. Even with the flare nut wrench the nut would not budge, and it seems like the metal on the nut is so soft/rusted that my wrench easily strips it with the slightest effort. I tried liquid wrench with no success and now the actual nut is almost totally stripped. Will try visegrips soon, but if that doesn't work has anyone ever tried to replace this nut?
