Default I have spark and fuel, Still wont, start

Ok so my car was running fine but needed a new dizzy because I was using one off a d16 on my B16. I also swapped in some type R cams but they were off a few degrees.

What I did was pull the timing belt off and set the cams and crank at TDC. I then put on my new dizzy and put everything back together. Now it wont start. I have fuel and spark. but nothing happens. The fuel pump primes when the ignition is on and there is feul in the cylinders. I also tested all the plugs and wires and there is spark at each one. Anyone have any ideas. Could my ECU take a dump? I need to drive back to school tommorow so any help would be great.

I also checked and the plug wires are in the correct location. I'm just out of ideas. Anyone?

@ TDC, does the rotor point at the #1 plug on the cap?

No i had a D series dizzy on and it ran fine but I had to cut one of the mounting legs off. I got a new B16 dizzy to replace the D series one and now the car won't start. but it has spark and fuel and evrything is lined up correctly I have checked it like 5,000 times.

and beofre it gets brought up honda made it to where u cant install the dizzy 180 degrees out of phase.thats why if u look that the thing that goes in the head on side isnt the same as the other.im sure if u hammered it and forced it it might hold in there, but whos going to do some thing stupid like that.

yeah I know theres only 1 way to put it on. I mean in theoryit should be starting. I have fuel, spark compression. The firing order is correct. and everything is all lined up at TDC cams and cranck all match up. I'm just lost. I know th ecu is good cause i unpluged the dizzy and cranked it over and it threw a code 15. then i plugged it back up reset the ecu and no code but still nothing.

valve cover ground back on? t-stat ground?

you confirmed that fuel was firing @ the injectors correct?

did u test spark using a plug or just a screw driver in the plug wire?

there was fuel on all 4 of the sparkplugs when I puled them out. I also checked the wires with a screwdriver and the sparkplugs grounded out of the cylinders. I even got new spark plugs. both sets old and new have spark. Is it possible there mightbe to much fuel in the chambers?

yea thats was next thing i was going to say.make sure there all hooked up.if u got to take them off sracth it up wih some 80 grit snad paper and tighten them back down.its some thing simple or it would be thowing codes.what about the cap and rotor how long has it been since u changed it.that could make it not start.and yea stick a screwdriver in the number one plug wire(closes one to the cam gears)hold it to the crown nut and have someone turn it over.it should be a nice heathly white spark.ull know if its a weak spark.

Flooded...possibly...but, because you have fuel on the plugs doe'snt nesecarily mean your getting enough fuel, from my experience.. Also, do you hear your fuel pump? I did'nt see that one addressed....Make sure you hear it, The plugs COULD be wet with gas just from remaining fuel in the lines that the injectors were able to siphon on there own power....Check your ground wires...thats VERY important for a car to run right!

Well I think it was just the new dizzy that was bad. I dont know what it was but I tried the old dizzy and it didnt work. then I tried the new one again and nothing. So I said well lets just try the old one again.. and it worked. Started right up. So I tried the old one and nothing. Then the old one and it started right up again. So I'm assuming th enew dizzy is bad. Thanks for the help guys. Just got in from my 10 hr drive from NY to OH.. Peace.
