New Ground Control sleeves
Just installed a set of Ground Control sleeves today, and they don't need the Koni-to-Ground Control adapter anymore! There's hardly any space between the shock and the coilover sleeve.
Not sure if this is a test piece, or something they'll be doing for Hondas from now on. Anyone have more info, or is this old news?

GC has been making the Koni-specific sleeves for years now. I've had them on my car since June '04.

I think they are switching sleeves because they've been sending me the wrong parts lol (didn't happen a couple years ago)..I ordered a new spring perch recently (the gold ring) and they sent me one that was WAY smaller than my old threaded body (uses the black circlip wring) but the perch still used a 2.5 in spring...the new perch also uses different locking screws than the old ones too apparently so be careful

I didn't realize that GC used spacers between the sleeve and shock body for Konis. What's it look like? Is it rubber or something that is fit to the shock?
BAck in the good 'ole days there was this black anodized aluminum ring that fit into a recess in the bottom of the GC sleeve. The ring fit really tight on the shock body. Nowadays, they are making the sleeve fit right on the circlip.
about 9 months ago, I order GC sleeves for my konis, they sent the sleeves with an adapter... even though the baby-sleeves were available.
I am sure they still have the adapters in stock and are still getting rid of them, or they send out adapters when the baby sleeves are out of stock.
