Well, I have a freshly rebuilt 1990 SI engine, I don't want to buy a new engine, since I have this engine sitting around. Now I need help, I want to go with a turbo. I was thinking about getting forged pistons and rods. What do you guys recommend for turbo, manifold, and engine program (ECU) ?

 

all depends on the boost you are looking to run,horsepower you are looking to make ect supporting mods and all that

When you say freshly rebuilt, what do you mean? OEM rebuild? What all was done?

There are a lot of factors that determine what kinda of set-up you should go with. What are your power goals? How much boost do you want to run to get there? Daily Driver or track car?

I would go hf manifold with adapter plate, upgraded injectors, turbo edit
