ok, I just put in a new distributor on my 94' accord lx. The other day i was about to take off, as i released the clutch pedal the whole car was jerked back and forth. My question is, could this be related to the distributor or could it be a bad clucth. other then that i don't notice anything else. It only did 2 or 3 times and that was it (in 1st gear).

Send me some advice.

 

hmmm...when i blew the distributor cap in my CRX I had just come around a corner and had released my foot off of my clutch....then my car jerked back and forth until i stopped....Im no mechanic or have no real idea but it sounds like maybe it could be your distributor cap...did you replace the distributo rotor also?

 

yea, new rotor and cap, I'm thinkin master cylinder or slave cynlinder.

i'm still open to ideas. Post 'em
