This is my first post here so I thought I would show you my project car.

It's a '91 Crx HF. Picked it up for $1300 in Los Angeles about three months ago. It came with a B16, 5zigen exhaust, generic intake and '90 LS rear disk brakes. Downfalls was the whole car was flat black, including the allow wheels. I have since primered it gray for now and striped the paint off the wheels

. I figured the car would dump on me fast, but I have since driven 12k on it (including a trip to kansas where I am stationed Ft. Riley) and have only burnt out a headlight bulb.

Been debating what I should do under the hood, decided to do a k24/k20 swap when I get back from iraq next year. So until then I'm going to do everything backwards and do paint first. I already have a Mugen style replica front bumper and some clear corner and clear bumper lights. Going to pick up a new hood and fenders. As for the interior I ripped it out, it was messed up. Going to order some carpet for it and try to get two matching seats.

No, the top of the radiator and the valve cover was already painted.

you got a running b16 rex for 1300? thats pretty good

 

Yeah, thats why I thought it would take a dump on me. It's the best used car I've bought without having to do work to, go figure...

 

hell yea, it's good, when u do a swap, let me get at ur engine for half of ur car price

 

I might put a GSR in it for the time being and get rid of the B16, seeing that you live in Pomona, and my (house) is in Covina I might give you a good deal...
