Default So will a torch/PB blaster remove these?

Hey guys as you can see I broke off the head on one of the bolts onn the rear LCA of my eg. My question is can I use a torch and PB blaster to get the other two (#1 and #2 ) out? (And get new LCA's?)

It would help. Brake cleaner works good at braking up rust too.

Soak the hardware with pb or brake cleaner over night. It will give it some time to work.

If your bolts are sized in the bushing you will need to either buy new bushing and have them pressed in of buy new lca's.

tell you the truth from previous experience...I generally never have problems with bolts 1 and 2...3 is the constant bitch

if you try heating them up, be care full or you will melt the bushings.
Try an impact gun and grease the bolts up with something that will penetrate rust.

Good luck...worst case scenario you will need to cut the bolts, press out and press in new LCA bushings

i've taken those out of junkyards before, just crank on it with a good sized breaker bar (like a 2footer) after soaking them in WD40/PB Blaster/Brake Cleaner/Cupcake mix/Coca Cola/Titty Milk/lol

yup guys got it out first I sprayed with WD40 (god bless this stuff) and then used a propane torch. Then I used a torque wrench to get it out nice and smottohly.
So now all I need is LCA's from a GSR and the bolts with them that will replace the ones that I broke the head off from? correct? no other parts that I need to replace?

it's not good to use a calibrated item like a torque wrench as a breaker bar but if it's all you got it'll have to do, and it did

never had problems taking any of those bolts out with a gun. but im guessing problems come up when you do it by hand.
