ya, I used to be like that. But when it comes down to the time and finding the parts and mixing and matching them till they all fit, it's usually not worth the effort. For the body panels, I can get everything for the front end for less than $300 (hood, fenders, bumper) and the side moldings are like, $70 a side from hondapartsdeals.com

ya.. the big problem is the crx front end.... i'm looking to change the crx bumper to the one with the air ducts in it.. i belive the si one.. but then the molding will still be a solid bar.. versus the one with the stripe in it.. so i was looking to have all solid molding like the crx + 90-91 civic molding and rear bumper.. or option b) i fill in all of it around.. which i really do not want to do to keep the jdm look.. but i already bondo/fiberglassed the holes for the molding..... here are some pix:

before: (4 years ago when i painted my car the first time.) ((i was a freshmen in hs when @ this time))
and now:

soo poll it up:
crx si bumper with 90 - 91 civic molding & rear bumper
fill it in all the way around
keep bumpers i have now and just repaint it?

that crx bumper on there now is 88/89,,they all look like that dont matter si/hf/dx..the one with the little cutouts is 90-91....

and none of the crx moldings have the little groove like the hatch..not even the 88/89 like you may be thinking..
