The factory installed radio in my 97' Honda Accord is not working properly. When the key is in position I (radio only), the radio and all it's components work perfect. When I turn the key to position II (all electronics, the position the key is in once the car is started), the radio stops picking up signals and I cannot listen to any stations. Does anyone know why this problem exists and what I can do to fix it?

 

Is the radio still on, are you only getting static, does the CD/tape work? 94

 

The radio is still on and everything works. I just stop getting signal when the key is in position II.

 

Well that stumps the hell out of me, at this point I would be pulling the HU and checking the ant. connection, and the ant./ant lead itself, don't know what else to try, other then maybe plugging in another HU and see if the same thing happens. 94

 

does it have a power antenna? if so is it working correctly
