Battery and Such
I'm going to be getting a 92 Accord EX-R from a friend tomorrow, one of the problems with it though is that he says it seems like something it staying on that shouldn't, and slowly drains the battery while the car is off. I said it just might be a crapped out battery, but he's sure somethign is staying on to cause it to drain. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this, and if there could be anything that's staying on other than a light?
your question is to vauge. Its doubtfull that it is just the battery, if there are aftermarket electronics start there as 02 accord stated, but if the car is 100% stock its not easy to find the drain....if your lucky it will be something easy like a fan relay, or it could be something mysterious that you never find...but good luck
Sorry for being too vague.
It is 100% stock, nothing added, nothing changed. I don't have anything to read the amperage.
I was just wondering if anyone knew of any common problems and what not I could look at before taking it to a shop.

While you're at it, have them check the battery too.

I've found out what is draining the battery (so I think). The engine cooling fans come on even while the car is off, and even when the car has not been run in awhile. My parents came home at 12am last night and heard the fans going. The car hadn't been run since about 6 pm. The previous owner said he put in a new cooling fan relay, but it didn't help. ANy other suggestions?
