Default Please dont flame me(need H22 swap help)

Hey you guys, I plan on getting a 90-93 accord, I was thinking about doing a H22a swap so I have been looking at different sites that had information on the swaps, but there was alot of stuff that was either not mentioned or different on each site, but here's what I have...................(keep in mind that I want a OBD 1 H22a)
1. I can use the stock mounts on the accord, sure but do i need to drill any extra holes in them?????
2. Ok I can use the stock fuel rail and I use the accord axels and half shaft, ok i got that..............
3. Pins, one site mentioned that you had to switch out pins A6 and A11, I get kinda lost, do you use the H22 wiring or the accord wiring?????and is this with the H22 ECU being used?
4.is there any other wiring things that i should be concerned about??? like things in the interior such as gauges and stuff, i can still use the same setup right???

Thanks!!!

yes you can use the same gauges but i recommend getting the prelude ones..and you should get the h22 ecu with motor..i also recommend upgrading your motor mounts...is your car stick or auto?

I'm not sure. Matt correct me if I am wrong. But I am looking also to do a h23 head swap. Now I don't know if 90-93 has an f series engine. But you might get more out of it if it is an f series because you could get the h23 head and still have the boost friendly f series motor? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Honda accords are F series F22 ands and F23s and the F20 B for those JDM accords.... for the newer ones......... You cant put a H23 head on the F22 because its soch to doch..........You might as well buy a H23 motor, they are wayy cheaper than the H22 and I heard are low compression, which is good if you know what I mean.....

I keep getting confused, i want a CB7, they talk about switching pins A6 and A11 on the ECU, but do I have to do that for this car??? I heard you dont, but alot of ppl still say they do, and do I use the Accord harness? or the prelude harness and change out some parts on it????
thanks

You should be using the accord wiring harness. I swapped a 98 h22 into my 96 accord and I had to add 3 wires to the h22 ecu, but I forgot which ones. Im not sure about your 4th gen accord.

For the pin swap go underneath you're dash and find the A plug that plug into the ECU and swap the pins a6 goes where a11 was and a11 goes where a6 was I believe.

The F block + H head swaps have been done and run quite well in response to h22edaccord's response that it can't be done because of the SOHC to DOHC "issue". I'm actually in the process of doing the H23 head swap onto a F22a4 (1990 Accord EX) and it can be done you just have to use the H23 ECU and timing belt among a few other little details. But back to the topic at hand, check out CB7tuner.com for some good info on the 4th gen (1990-1993) Accords. GL with the swap I know very little about the H22 swaps, hope I helped a little.

i have to add a correction in here, the h23 head swap can be done to an F22x bottom end, there is a writeup for that on cb7tuner.com
