Transmission differences APXA, APX4, PBX4

Transmission differences APXA, APX4, PX4B
What is the difference between an APX4, APXA, and PX4B automatic transmission? I have a bead on a PX4B automatic transmission to replace the sick APXA I have in my 92 LX. The tranny in it now is a replacement by the PO and is out of a 91 Accord Wagon. I think they are the model that had the APXA coded transmisson.
