Alright been looking to get my first bike, ive been riding for like 3 years but not with my own bike, because i was poor, but now ive saved up a have some $$$$$, where is a good place to purchase a bike . im looking for something in the 600cc - 750cc range. My boy told me about this place in woodbridge by the ikea but i went down there and the dude was trying to play me as a fool. -

he was talkin about colemans. You're better off getting one used from craigslist or here in the for sale motorcycle forum.

Are you looking new or used? For used craigslist, dcsportbikes.net, cycletrader, and any number of the brand specific forums is good.

For new the Coleman's in Falls Church seems to be better than the Woodbridge guys.

Whats your budget and what are you looking for?

If you're looking at a $1500 bike, its likely to be beat up. Finding bikes in good shape takes a little patience and a little travelling.

you have to be persistent and patient when looking for a bike. i looked at about 12 bikes and 2 months before i ended up buying mine - and i'm pretty happy with my purchase.

they're tough to find in good shape b/c they usually sell pretty quickly if the price is fair. you need to be thorough with your examinations and be willing to see the bike as soon as the seller is ready.

good luck in your search

I didn't know which Nova thread to put this in so I picked the one with the fewest posts.

From our canoe trip this past weekend... you guys missed out.
