I know alot of the guys in this forum have 3 phase equipment, I purchaseda CNC Coldsaw yesterday its 480 3 Phase and Currently I have 208 Three Phase so im on the hunt for a 208 to 480 15KVA Transformer if anyone knows a place to pick one up for a reasonable price I would love to know. I got quoted $560 + Shipping from some place online I have been checking ebay but everyone is over 200 Miles away and when they weigh 200-300lbs shipping is $$

I only looked at it for a few minutes but I didnt think I could wire it from 480-240 then use a buck booster which would be way easier

Im just fruggal with my money, thats how I saved up enough to get the cold saw. here in a few months I should be able to get a VMC, I found a few Mori Sekis im looking at. Back on Track Electricans normally are expensive I might swing by a few see if they have some used ones

I might be able to ask my boss on tuesday. Lots of the stuff we do is centered around older CNC's - rebuilding the machines, building controls, installing, etc. He has more connections than a drug lord, so theres a slight chance he knows someone down there. Otherwise, it would be from Milwaukee.
