Krylon and the Honda Interior
So, have any of you seen the new Krylon spray paint that is supposedly designed for plastics? Anyone tried it yet? I'm debating on using it on some interior pieces on my EJ1 to convert the tan to black. As long as there is a flat black color in this new line of paint.
Anyone try this method for color matching or doing a conversion on their interior?

c'mon now, you know there's folks out there who've spray painted their wiper arms yellow... and dyed interior door panels... this doesn't seem THAT far off the mark, i can see someone doing it...

Ok ok let me clarify one thing, i'm not about to go spray my interior here, just saw this commerical about the Krylon paint being designed for plastics and thought 'hey that might work on these console pieces'
just thought i'd see if anyone else has thought of this with the new paint, and if so... how'd it do?

in a past car i sprayed a tan air bag cover grey to match the rest of the interior. it came out looking perfect. couldnt even tell it was painted. just do it in light coats and make sure the surface is nice and clean/dry.
i dunno if i would do the whole dash though, but in my case with the one piece it came out looking good

for best results make sure you scuff the surface and you wont need primer...also paint the pieces in the heat the hotter the better...
