Default single exhaust question....noob here....

Ok im not at a ricer level but id like to know something, and peoples opinions....for the S i like the single exhaust look, but i dont want something after market. at truth i love my oem 1. I was wondering if its possible to take 1 side off? Like leave 1 canister instead of 2? is it stupid? will it sound shitty? i mean id like to know? thanks people.

just cut and weld. May corrode after awhile, but why not try it.

yep, go to a miffler shop and they can fix you up. easy. something like that would cost around 30 bucks here. not to bad.

Just save the 2nd muffler. If it doesn't work as planned, you can just get it welded back on.

the stock exhaust was enginered to be a dual exhaust. im more worried about the back pressure changing.

Hopefully you know that after the split, the piping is only 2" (50mm), which greatly restricts your motor. Chop the thing off altogether before the split, and use 60mm piping and like.. an $50 Apexi N1 muffler.

Using you for what? The method I described has been done by me, 3 times already. In the end, I still bought a "real" exhaust.

3'' is overkill for a stock motor.
