ok well i dont know much about cars and wut not so this might be kinda vague but here it goes
i have a 97 civic coupe with a SOHC vtec swap and my vtec kicks in about 5.6k-5.7k RPM and i redline at about 7k and red limiter at like 7.6 and it has been working fine and everything
but then a couple days ago i started noticing thats its kinda be retarted....my first gear vtec works but at about 6.2k-6-9k my car sounds like it is sputtering or my Vtec is just not working but it goes on and off REALLY fast until i shift...almost like i reached my limiter.......but not everytime...sometimes it works fine
i have NOO idea what could be the problem so any EDUCATED advice might help or if u have questions i will answer them to my best ability! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! ahhh
