Default del Sol VTEC 1/4 times

I have an LS/VTEC del sol with the typical bolt-ons I-H-E. Full interior. Street tires. Took it to the strip and dialed in at 14.8. Am I doing something wrong? Cause I heard with that set-up I should be in the low 14 high 13 range. Anyone with a similar set-up?

Yeah, those topless cars need to be stiffened by something. All that extra weight is in body stiffening components.

Im thinking about changing to a b16 tranny. I heard with a b16 tranny you can drop two tenths of a second or more with a good driver
