Manual to Power steering conversion for 1990 CRX
I just got a 1990 CRX DX. Yeah! I am looking to do a lot to it, and I want to start by adding power steering to it. Currently it is manual.
Does anyone know how to go about doint this? I hear that it is possible to do, but I have no idea where to start and what to buy (steering pump? reservoir? hoses? steering box?)
I am looking for a list of parts and some sort of instructions if you have any. I'm all ears.
Thanks.

i dunno power steering in my rex would be weird. i dont think it would be worth it considering the work that is involved.
Find a Civix wagon in the junk yard. They should have all you need. Its the only Ef ive seen come stock with power steering..
It's a CRX,you really don't need to go through all the trouble of changing the rack to make it work. You'll get use to it,it ain't that bad.
My '91 LX has power steering and I'm switching to manual LOL....
I bought the entire rear crossmember with steering rack (xmembers are slightly different).
You will need that, & obviously the pump & mount brackets, & the hi-pressure lines.
If you want to wait a couple weeks I can send you everything from my sedan, well except maybe the xmember & rack cause they're huge.....but it all works great
