Hey everyone I'm new in the forum and I have done some work on cars before and I just bought a 92 Accord for $2300. It has ~130,000 miles on it, great paint and interior. I would like to request some advise on upgrading this car. I'm not much for visuals, I just want it to haul *** and I'm planning on paying ~$4,000 in upgrades to start. I have read the topic about upping a 91 Accord. I was wondering if I should boost this engine, break it down and rebuild it and boost it, or just completely replace it and boost it. I was also wondering about the possibilites of putting a whole new engine in it with mount mods. Any advise would be appreciated, Thanks

 

no offense but if you are going to spend 4k right off the bat.. u could've picked up decent sr20'ed 240 or gsr for 6.5k. but whatever it's ur car man. i would first pick up some good susp. and good wheels/tires,..then a turbo kit

 

hey man sounds great. i have a 92 accord myself and was planning on turboing it but im selling my turbo kit instead. but anyways go to cb7tuner.com its for our 4th gen accords. no offense to anyone on this forum but i like that forum a lot better. there is a beginner section and everything so you dont have retarded people answering tech questions. you could get a real nice turbo kit for your car or even do an h22 or h23 swap and turbo that if you shop around enough. later man
