How to adjust for caster in EG Civic?

Default How to adjust for caster in EG Civic?

If this has been covered before, I apologize in advance....

I need to make some alignment corrections in my Civic, and I am trying to choose a front camber kit. It appears that some of them (SPC, Sprint and Ingalls) could also allow for some caster adjustment, because it looks like one could adjust one pivot point inboard, and the other outboard, to greater or lesser extent. The Omnipower control arms look strong, but there wouldn't be caster adjustment, as far as I can tell. Anyone know how I could do this? I have 2 degrees neg caster on LF and O on the RF.

My newly acquired EG Civic HB is going to mostly be an open-track car, so I want something strong and safe. Do you have any recommendations? I am waiting for advice before I make a purchase.

I've got a 00 GSR as a daily driver / autox / hpde car.

I used an Ingalls front camber kit, and couldn't get the camber I wanted with it. Also, adjusted all the way in, the UCA started hitting the fender before the adjustment maxed, and I ended up with 0.2* caster and 2.3* camber. I would have had to back off the camber to get the caster back (the rear adjuster wouldn't go further in).

I'm currently using SPC UCAs, and have 2.6* camber and 4.2* caster. They have built in caster adjustment, with an offset balljoint, and I swapped them left to right for even more. Doing this has visibly pulled the wheel back in the wheel well a little, and the ackerman is definately off, since the car now squeals the tires making parking lot maneuvers and didn't before. Doesn't bother me, and I love how it turns in. Steering effort is noticeably increased.

Whiteline also makes a caster kit that pushes the LCA forward, with spacers in between the 2 LCA pieces. I have the kit, but not installed. I'm tempted to see what nearly 6* of caster would be like, but I half imagine turning the steering wheel would become difficult.

Honestly, I love the SPC UCAs. They're stout, don't seem like they'll slip on me (pot hole tested, unfortunately), tuck into the top of the fender really well (enough that I think they give a little extra suspension travel before contact), and have given me more than enough adjustments range, both for camber and caster.
