Default Help! Fuel line into fuel filter busted

I was trying to relpace the fuel filter on my '93 si and the hardline from the fuel tank broke the top of the filter off with it. I know that sounds crazy, but it was on there that tight. I've read through so many posts about replacing the stock line with a ss line, but I don't care about that. I'm wondering what fitting is needed to run directly into the fuel filter? Is the stock line supposed to be flared to 45 or 37 degrees? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I'm Just trying to fix this as cheaply and quickly as possible.

You mean the whole line? From the filter to the tank? The local junkyard wants $75 which is too much. I'm hoping there's an easier way than replacing the whole line.
