Another Europe Trip Thread (150+ photos)
Took a 3 week trip trhough London, Amsterdam (No photos), Paris, Nice, Belfast, London-Derry, Ballintoy, Balley Castle and Edinburgh with the girlfriend. Here is a sample of some of the photos. 
***London***

3. The Bus Tour! It was VERY cold up top.
4. Hyde Park near our Hostel
5. At the Queens palace during the changing of the guards
6. The Gates to the Palace. Wasn’t a good spot to take a photo of the actual palace.

15. I forget the name of the writing but it’s old. Egyptian I think.

52. On our way to the WWII memorial we passed an EXCELLENT jazz band in the street.

55. Opposite of the spikes.. Wonder what’s in there?
56. Thousands of glowing crystals behind large bars, representing the thousands that were deported to concentration camps.
57. Concentration Camp names are in each of the triangles

60. One of the hundreds of used book stands on the street.
61. Hmmmm... This photo was taken hundreds of feet below the city of Paris in the catacombs... I wonder what’s in here?

72. Whoa.. The ceilings! They are like that in EVERY room!

75. That’s real gold. A lot of the ceiling and walls have been gold leafed
76. Public Bedroom, King went to bed here so the public could watch. (How boring) lol

79. Hall of Mirrors (Mirrors were a rare thing back in the day)

85. See where the land meets the sky? The gardens don’t even end there! This place is huge..
86. The king wanted canals like Italy so he had one made that was a mile long and captured Italians to man the boats. Why? Because he could. It is good to be king. Now you can rent some boats for an un-godly amount.
87. Everyone is just chillin on the lawn. (Random German woman)
88. There were at one point over 300 fountains.. Today there are only like 130ish. Here is a couple.

90. Finally made it to the Eiffel tower!
91. By the time we made it to the 3rd level (very top) it was dark
92. The white streak is the large lights on top of the tower... like a light house, but not.

94. On the 1st level, looking inward to the other leg of the tower.

100. There are other tombs inside as well.
101. The inside of the dome. The outside of the dome contains almost 30lbs of gold.

105. The only photo I took on the inside because it’s not very photo friendly. A lot of things you cant take photos of (Mona Lisa) but the girl wanted a photo of this so ill post it as well.

122. All you need to know is that you get to take stairs 90 meters high!

***Ireland***
131. Has the last bus run for the day and you are stuck with no place to sleep and the next town is 10 miles over the hill? Why Hitchhike! Thankfully someone picked us up pretty quickly.

134. It was so beautiful.
135. It as nice to just explore the empty shore and walk though the sand.

141. This pub had an Irish band playing. I could have stayed there all night but it was getting late.

No tour, no plan really. Just taking trains, ferries, busses, planes all across and finding somewhere to sleep on the fly for the most part.. Slept in Airports a few nights, lol. Hardcore cheap!

There is a lot of Greek antiques in Britain because of the Ottoman Empire (Nowadays Turkey) invading and conquering Greece. There was a British general involved and he (as the Greeks that I met and talked to) stole the pieces of the Parthenon and other statues from Greece.
Greece has been fighting through diplomacy to get those back for a long time.
My wife's father is Greek and he was very upset and passionate about it.. heh.
