Default spoon front strut install help

ok...am i missing something when installing a spoon front strut tower bar (dc2 chassis)? the bar is very loose when i screw the allen bolts on. i'm trying to screw on the two ends such that the bar will be in slight tension but can't get it to fit right.

can some spoon bar owners help a "brutha" out?

thanks!

Default Re: spoon front strut install help (kepani)

it got it to fit right!

i was making it harder than it was. the trick was just tightening the ends of the aluminum bar to *squeeze* the attachment pieces. i thought that i was supposed to install the attachment pieces in such a way so that the aluminum bar was very tight so that the bar wouldn't be wiggling around.

point is... to my head for thinking too much...it's just a bar!!
