Default Car won't start, no spark, power DOES run to the distributor

I just put in a b16a into a 88 dx crx, the engine cranks when i try to start it but wont turn over. I checked the spark to find that there is no spark, I checked the blue wire on the smaller harness the runs to the dizzy and it shows that power is running to the dizzy. I do have fuel pressure and i have connects the blue/green wire to c1 and the blue/yellow wire to c2?..

If anyone knows what could be the problem i would appreciate the help, Thanks

I was going to check the power to the coil today, if it is the coil i would have to replace it if im not mistaken? or would it be the whole dizzy. If i do have to replace it what kind of dizzy goes on a b16a.

Also how would i check to see if it was the ignitors?

Here i pulled these from the honda service manuals. the B16 service manual didnt have igniter testing for some reason(musta been wrong manual) so i pulled the igniter testing from i beleive the USDM honda CRX / Civic manual. if you need the manuals pm me.

i hope this helps you out : )

oh yeah and if you cant read those. i can try and clean them up, just tell me : )

EDIT: accidently cut the edge off the igniter testing picture. FIXED

Testing igniter input

Testing the igniter its self

well when you go to any auto parts store and try to buy a part for a b16a let them look at you like your an idiot cuz they dont know what it is for it was either the b16a (jdm) or the b16a1 (euro). Meaning that they do not make parts for these motors in the us domestic market. So just what exactly is america coming to... if you want to talk **** just answer the question or find a new thread

Also i appreciate the help nels, i will give it a test today hopefully i will have it up and running

stop flaming just to get your post marking higher. i go to autozone for parts for my JDM motors all the time. there are COMPARABLE ITEMS. and you can always convert plugs etc. so dont just flame. i beleive the integra LS dizzy almost fits. but you odnt want to mod it. and the 94-95 del sole w/ b16 works. but they will have to order it. so just skip it and get online (probablly get a better deal) if you need a new one. the del sole will need new plugs. so save your self hasle and just order one from distributor king they sell b16 obd0 dizzys. i have one on my shelf that MIGHT be for sale soon if your looking to replace the whole thing. (depends if my friend ever calls me back about a gsr swap).

hope this helps, feel free to pm me : )

The piece indicated?
If so,Yes.. that transfers the charge from the
coil through the rotor to fire each cylinder..

P.S. Your coil and possibly the ignitor
could have also failed because of this..
