Default Valve Cover Baffle?

I recently removed the baffle from inside a valve cover so that I could properly clean it up and powder coat it to match the color scheme on my current car project. Now that the powder coating is done, I am tying to decide how I should re-install the baffle. I have drilled and tapped the inside of the valve cover where the old spot welds were but as I assembled it, I began to wonder if there would be clearance issues between the button-head bolts I was using and the valve train.

Any thoughts? Is there room for the bolts or should I spot weld it back on?

I would really rather avoid doing that. It would be such a hassle. But it may come to that......

I'd personally weld it, not sure if I like the idea of a button-head bolt lossening and running rampant through the valvetrain

No it seems to be some sort of steel. It is welded in with little bumps through holes that have been drilled through it. Essentially the welds end up working like little rivits.
