coilovers
not those crappy slip ons full ones.
Im desiding on either prgressive, teins, or maybe omni but more towards teins. Who have any of these setups and what ur thoughts.
i really want a coilover with a shorter shockbody so i can ride lowerd and the car with have more travel. Oh and i drive auto-x alot during the summer.
Peace
Ben

Ive got the Function Form coilovers, ive chose these because i heard that the tiens blow out but you can warrenty them. But for the price i went with the F2's because its a bit cheaper and its 24 way adjustable. The site in my sig had them now i think
Really depends on how much you want to spend and how much adjustability you are looking for. Tein's are a great option. But dont buy their lower end stuff IMO. Flex, Super Street, or Basics. I have never heard of them blowing out, but tein does offer great customer service, so if something like that did happen, I'm sure they would take care of you.
ya i was going to go with tein basics for the price. But i want something that handles well on the track (auto-x), i do drive this daily but i dont care if it rides like it does during racing i can deal with it. But i do want something that is well known and goes for up to $850-900.
Cuz my current setup isnt cutting it, egay coilovers dropped as low as the coilovers go on stock structs with uncut bump stops.

shoot lil late I just sold a pair of new tein ss to a member on here for 675 bucks...but teins deff way to go for what you want...can make it 32 way adjustable if you get there efdc or what ever they call it cause they go half click turns
alot of the teins can use the edfc set up.
as stated i got my D2 coilovers 36 adjustable which people compare it to the tein Flex for 800 shipped. Like you i had tenzo R coilovers on stock struts. I can take turns like nothing now with no body roll. WHen i crank it up to max i feel like im in a real go kart. Check it out.

As soon as I'm done with the K, I'm buying this, some Volk TE-37's, and a set of Azenies.

had the custom rated springs for teh swap, had AGX's, no matter how i dropped the car (never lower then 2"), no matter what settings i had on the AGX's the car rode like **** and didnt feel solid in the corners. once i switched to the progress auto swap springs the ride improved x1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 000 and the car just felt more solid all the way around. it was not an install error, im not a n00b

If you would have listened to me and gotten Koni 8041s and different spring rates in the first place, you wouldn't have had problems.

. i already had stiffer rates, i would have had to go softer to help with the shitty ride quality, i wouldnt have minded going with the konis on whatever i had, but then i sold the car before i threw anymore money at it

so far teins ss good and form function.
Im looking for somthing that will handle very well in auto-x thats it, if its crappy driving on the road so be it were i live roads arnt that bad. I just dont want to screw with it. So what i have looked into is
tein ss, form functions, and ksport. and i do like to ride low like top of tire tucken a little in the front and like really close in the back.

Yeah sounds like a dampening problem. AGXes are good to a point, but they have their limits.
