I just bought my first ej8. Its a 2000 EX Coupe with 72k miles. Its got an apexi exhaust and aem intake. Im excited to own something newer and can't wait to get a nice set of wheels on it!!! Any suggestions???

Get wheels that are at least a little unique. Im so over rotas etc.

 

Do what makes you happy. Build your suspension, or motor, whatever you want, but do it right the first time.

awesome i'm glad he's over rotas....cause i'm gonna keep sporting them....its a great rim for the price and they rip off rims i wish i could afford...

Glad you're happy with the EJ8. I have a love/hate relationship with mine.

I'm not going to tell you WHAT to put on/in the car. But here is my suggestion on what would be a good idea to do first:

Brake and suspension - doesn't matter what you have under the hood if you have good brakes/suspension you'll have a blast in your car just ask Archidicitus

You'll like it for a while, then it will get old and you'll wish you had kept the G5 hatchback.

Been there, done that.

Im not going to swap it. I love the mpg and the ex motor is enough to get me around town. Ive been down the bseries road and its rocky. Im not mechanically inclined, so having every shop around town not touch my car beacuse nothing is stock is a ******* bitch. Ill keep everthing stock, except lower it some and get some nice wheels and a lip. Im having a blast so far and i've only owned it for a couple days. I missed honda the week i was out of one

May I make a suspension suggestion? Get a rear sway bar from a 99-00 Si. It will make a HUGE difference in the handling of the car. I did that and absolutely fell in love with the way the car handled. That is until I started trying to push my car even further and now I want a bigger one.

Rotas are what $400 for a set? + $350 for some decent tires? Why dont you just save up another $150 and get a set of nice used rims and tires that will hold there value? I saw a set of Regamasters on here not to long ago for $925 with good tires.......2 weeks ago I sold a set of brand new FNO1R-C with new tires for $900 either would be a better chioce than rota IMO

00 silver ex with full si kit and wing
WS2 catback and all si parts were put on

new car
94 si
gsr swap with an all forged block...
its a rattley car but im happy with the switch

i do miss my old car tho hopefully itll treat you good and nice find with that mileage

and o yea... i rocked koni yellows w/ tein s tech springs

it was an amazing set up was the most comefortable ride iv had in a lowered car and amazing for a daily driver it also held strong as hell

white si with black rotas n s2k caps suspension is done all black interior with no rips rust or blemishes on the paint

its faster and looks better dont diss a car youve never seen buddy
