Default blown clutch at track

well i blew my OEM clutch tonight at the 1/8 mile track haha i had to pretty much coast thru at 40 mph. ive searched clutch options and have only really seen recommendations for fairly stock preludes. i am running a 55 shot and am looking into a new clutch for street and strip use. what recommendations would you give? i leaning towards ACT and exedy.

I've heard a stock clutch can get mushed up pretty easy from anything over a 50 shot. if you dont have to many mods and want something nice on the street, get a stage1 organic friction material, or a 6 puck i think is a little more agressive but not too bad. look around for what suits you and your wallet.

If it doubles as a daily driver, then XTD stage 2. If it's only for the strip, ACT stage 3

if you take a look at the pic of the clutch u are thinking about, the more surface area yo have is going to engage at a lower RPM. (solid face, six puck, four puck, three puck) from lowest to highest engagement. thats the way i was always told to think about it.
