Default shift linkage issues

I would just like to let people know that when yer deciding to do a b series drop in yer ef, always expect the unexpected. I ordered a complete swap- b16a (from a intergra xsi obd1) w/ the HASPORT shift linkage. Go to put the kinkage on, (it looked odd) , let the car down, and i could not get it into first gear, the linkage was hitting the swaybar, so i took it off. Then, its hitting the body, so i dented out the body. I contacted the place from where i purchased the swap from, HMOTORSONLINE, and they wanted pics. so, i sent them 6 pics, and they finally responded. They sent me a new shift linkage, not the stabilizer, but just the linkage itself. today, i try to put the damn thing on, and now the hole where it slides onto the shift selector shaft was too small! so i had to put the bent/wrong one back on and continue driving with no front swaybar. I didnt want to spend the time drilling it out so it would fit because after all im buying something that should not have to modified to fit the car it was designed for... I am getting tired of dealing with all this b.s., and I thought it would be a good idea to let people know that this happened. So now im stuck dealing with them again. I must have spent 25 bux just for the long distance phone calls to be greated by a ****** answering machine.. and tomorrow will only be the beginning of next months phone bill....

I am using hasport mounts with hasport linkage. I just dont understand how hmotors can send the wrong linkage twice... Ive been waiting for almost a month for my swap to be problem-free, and i hate driving it with no front sway bar with -3" camber.. its disasterous. Everyone I talked to never had this problem, so im the first I guess..

Are you sure it is Hasport linkage & not something else?

That sounds fishy. Unless that is something new that they are doing. I remember talking to Joe (Locash) from Hasport at the runoffs a few years back. He was talking about how they bought OEM 90-93 teg linkages from their local Acura dealer, and then cut them down to fit. I guess corporate Honda called the dealership wondering why they were buying so many linkages.
