What Accords have these wheels
Those are the HFP optional wheels for the Accord. I don't know for sure, but I think they're optional for the TSX as well. I don't know if the new Si has similar wheels or not.
I think they look pretty cool on a black car. And I don't have to worry about "will they fit right?" because they are Honda Accord wheels. My stock tires will have to wear out first though. Thanks for the input guys.
Just keep in mind they're actually a gunmetal color, and not black. (A few people thought they were black.) Some people like it on black, some don't...
Oh, just some more info in case you didn't know -- they're 17 inch rims.

Do you like your stock tires? I've heard many bad complaints about horrendous wet performance (as my Michelin MX4 Plus stock tires were. I find it hard to believe that summer tires have better wet performance then all-seasons).
You could probably paint those black to match, wouldn't be that hard at all.

I know their not black. There is a black coupe, and a red coupe in the picture thread with those wheels on them. They look ok, on the red one, but even better on the black car. Black wheels on a black car would be too much (for my taste). Thanks again good fellas.
What kind do you like Diego? I don't like chrome wheels (too flashy for me), if that's what you like.

No, no Accord comes with those wheels from the factory.
For 2006 MY, the wheels can be purchased as a 17x7 +55 optional wheel, and you can buy them either with or without high performance tyres.
For whatever marketing reason makes sense to them, the old style wheels shown in your picture are provided as the 2006 HFP dealer optional wheel instead of the newer 17" and 18" HFP wheels supplied for the Civic.
The new style HFP wheels fit just as well, of course.

Those are the HFP Silverstars.
If you want a set, get the ones for the Civic. They have a better offfset.
I like them but too much for my wallet.

Are these the wheels you're talking about? Will they fit my 03V6 Accord Sedan? What does the different offset mean? I know, I ask too many questions.
I would like to see what the Civic wheels would look like on a black Accord. Seems like it would look pretty good. They are a good bit more expensive than the Accord HFP wheels. They do look great though, and just might be worth it. I love the look of this kind of wheel. Does some other company make these wheels for Honda?
Both set of wheels look nice. But the only diffence is the si HFP wheels dont fit the accord cause they scrap the outside of the caliper by just a smiggen, from what i have seen at teh shop. i believe they have a 5mm offset difference. I know for a fact that the HFP shoes fit a s2k though. ooooohhhhhhwwweeeee. they look so sweet. getting back to your answer, stick with the five spoke, they look nice.

Not trying to get off-subject, but the S2000 runs a staggered setup. Different widths and different offsets between the front and rear...

That's what I read, can't rotate the tires on an S2000 I guess.

i Know. With HFP, you can order things the way you want them. So you can get the, i think 17x6 up front and the 17x7 in the rear. Its your personal order. If they dont do that for you, go to another dealer.
Oh, I don't have an S2000. We were just commenting on the S2000's different size wheels (front and back). I certainly don't want to put different size rims on an Accord. Just looking at some nice "Honda" wheels for my 03V6 Accord Sedan.

Yes, those are the 2006 HFP wheels for the Civic.
They come in two offsets of 17x7 and at least one offset of 18x7.
The +55 offset would place the wheel more inside the fender well than the +45 offset.
The 17x8 +45 wheels on my car are about the widest you can get, and with 235 tyres about the widest stance you can get.
The 17x8 five spoke wheels are usually easy to find and quite cheap. They are OEM on recent Acura TL six speeds, but the owners seem to very often take them off to be replaced with A Spec wheels. You can sometimes find these takeoff wheels for under $500.
The old HFP "Silverstar" wheels, like in the first picture I posted, can also frequently be found for under $500 as long as it's the 17x7 +55 version you're out for.

Nothings wrong with the offset. Its just the Accord set has a +55 offset and the Civic version of the same rim is +45. The +45 set just looks better IMO.
The second gen TL-S rims also look pretty nice. They are the same as the newer Accord coupe rims I believe. The CL-S version is the same too but wider than that of the TL-S.
If you want s2k rims, you'll need to purchase two of the front sets. Thats going to be kinda difficult to do. There was a guy on here who had a set of s2k rims on his Legend. It looked really nice. He had to get two sets of the front of course though.

The old TL-S wheels are OEM on 2006 Accord 6-6 models, both Coupe and Sedan.
However, they are only 6" wide so many of us would be looking for something else, despite how very nice they look on the car.
