Default Problems w/ Hydrocarbs on emmisions

first off the car passed fine, and the hydrocarbs were real low @ 2500 rpm. However @ idle it was 102 ppm (130 is legal in PA) I only have a CAI and Cat-back, does this sound outta whack or is it the norm?

Could be normal if the smog tech didn't let the car precondition much i wouldn't worry to much about it though.

Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator hose ... it will raise the CO but just might do it for the HC

Just make sure that your car is fully warmed up also...hondas always run rich when they are first starting to idle. Let it idle for a minute and the emissions should go down quite a bit.

yeah that is REALLY high! I have a JRSC, Intake, header, high flow cat, exhaust, and i was able to pull off a 90's... which is failing however in CA. I finally passed after i changed a fried O2 sensor and got a 90 which is passing.

it must be running cold or something... have you checked your spark plugs, O2 sensor, cat?

Why did you have to get your car smogged? It's a 2001, it doesn't need to be smogged so soon. What happened?
