what size is the starter bolt that goes in the bottom of the starter... i think its bigger than the top one i know its longer...

does anyone know the exact size?

my bad its an a6

 

The longer bolt size is 10mm x 1.25mm pitch x 110mm= total length of bolt
[actual fastening area=100mm]

The shorter bolt size is 10mm x 1.25mm pitch x 45mm= total length of bolt
[actual fastening area=35mm]

{The head size of the bolt is a 14mm.}

I have a 96 Honda Accord coupe. Are my bolts supposed to be different lenghts too? If so where does the shorter bolt go, the left or right side of the starter?

 

Not sure if they're all configured the same, but the short bolt went on top and the longer bolt went on the bottom of my B series

 

Its common design on both alternator and starter to have two diff sizes. Would those sizes be the same on a d16z6?
