Fuel Line Problem: b18a1 into 1991 crx dx
*I am going to do my best to explain this without pics...for now*
Alright i have just finished my swap and i thought i had everything sorted out. Turned the key and heard fluid spraying from the engine bay. i quickly stopped and saw it was coming from the connection of the fuel line which runs from the filter to the fuel rail. I ended up using the line from the ls since i had it handy. I unscrewed the cap on the fuel rail to find that the line appears to be wrong. The gold stud that comes out of the rail has an inlet hole at the top...where it would be covered by the cap. The hose however has its hole positioned into what would be the side of the gold stud. There is no hole in this general location. I dont know if perhaps i have the wrong line or maybe there is some thing i possibly overlooked. I will try to get pics either tonight or tomorrow for better explanation. In all the research i have done i never read of any such problem. Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated.

ok i have the right line it looks like from the pictures. the fuel dampner thing i am assuming is the one in the bottom pic which i also have. assuming this why does fuel continue to leak out of this connection?
EDIT: i noticed i dont have either of the washers pictured for the mpfi line...this is probably the problem right?

OK,
On the fuel rail should be a washer like this:

Then put the line on with the larger opening out:

Then put the washer that is larger on the outside:

Then put the dampner on and tighten:

Hope that helps..
