aem v2 cai replacement

anyone replace the air filter on an rsx type s AEM V2 C.A.I. I got the one that aem's website says to get but it doesnt fit. It's only 3" diameter, but the intake pipe is 3 1/2". ????????

Just to clear things up. Is it a V2 or a CAI? As AEM doesn't make a V2 CAI. Did you order the V2 or the CAI air filter?

you need to get the 3.5" filter. you should get the new ones...the one that doesn't need to be oiled.
