Default VTEC SOLINOID GASKET/screen

Can someone please explain the exact procedure step by step for removing and inspecting the VTEC SOLINOID GASKET/screen, I want to try this out in a few days but want to make sure I’m doing it right.

off the top of my head, disconnect electrical connection, remove the 2 or 3 bolts, and the screen is right there, if its clogged or dirty, i just used brake cleaner and cleaned it out...then put back together

no, but wait at least 5 min after you turn the car off to do it so the oil can drain out, put a rag under also as there will be some oil that will not drain but shouldnt be too much

I just did mine a week ago and it is very simple and straight forward. There are three bolts and two electrical connectors to remove and it comes straight off. You should replace the gasket/screen, thats what i did, its only 20 bucks or so. But if you get a helms manual it should tell you step by step best way to go.
